Finish Levels

Our smooth surface finish with some, but very light, distressing and antiquing.

Our medium level of texture and distressing. Color will appear slightly darker than it does with Classic finishing, as an underlying contrast color or a contrasting glaze may be applied.

The most heavily antiqued finish. Surfaces are textured and distressed with some worn-down edges.

About our Finishing Steps and Colors

Due to variations in computer monitors, the colors shown may be different from the actual color. If you would like to have paint chips, please contact us by phone or email. Colors can vary slightly from batch to batch. For items ordered at the same time, the color should be uniform from piece to piece. But if you plan to order additional items later, we cannot guarantee that the color will exactly match those from the earlier order. When painting our furniture, we make every effort to hide or avoid knots. However, over time the natural resins in the knots may bleed through, especially on the lighter colors. This effect is natural, and sometimes unavoidable, and is not to be considered a defect in the product. Because of the construction methods and materials of our chairs, we highly recommend that all chairs be ordered painted and not stained.
